there are many forms of breath work here is a simple way to begin
Imaging breathing like the waves at the shore of the ocean.
Lay back and take a deep breath hands on the top of you belly.
As you breathe in to the count of three allow your belly to raise like a wave.
Hold it at its full point then release to the count of 10 letting the belly soften and fall. Think of a wave coming into shore up up up on the beach to where the sand crabs live. to where the white sand turns a shade of tan. Then breathe in once more, allowing you hands to feel like a surf board or a gull out on the water being lifted by that perfect wave.
if you take a moment in the day to feel this breath you can get to a point where you can feel this wave through out your body. You can feel the oxygen that is in your blood move to the far reaches of your extremities otherwise known as relaxation. Remember as you breath oxygen is being picked up by your blood in the lungs and being transported to your entire body. Your diaphragm which is just below your lungs is being utilized to engage you lymphatic system to strengthen you immune system and to clean out metabolic waste to keep your body healthy, relaxed and free of pain.
